Aoshima's Waterline series renewed with greater precision!!
This month's renewal of the 1/700 Waterline Series features three ships: the heavy cruiser Maya, the midget submarine carrier Chiyoda, and the destroyer Hatsuharu as she appeared at the time of her completion in 1933! The main guns, machine guns, ship boats, and other fitting parts have been newly researched and designed. By incorporating multiple slide molds into the tooling, we have accurately reproduced the intricate detail of 1/700 scale. We present to you a newly refined and more precise Waterline Series.
Under the restrictions of the London Naval Treaty, the Hatsuharu-class destroyer Hatsuharu was built with heavy armament on a compact hull. Now available as a 1/700 scale plastic model kit in her original completed form. The parts composition focuses on key points, allowing for simple assembly and accurate reproduction. Newly designed parts have been added for various fittings such as torpedo launchers and boat davits. It effectively captures the detail and intricacy of the 1/700 scale.
