Product Details

"Haruna" was the JMSDFs first helicopter carrying destroyer (DDH), commissioned in 1973.

Along with the sister ship "Hiei" and two improved "Shirane" class vessels, it was in service for many years.
It was retired in 2009 following the commissioning of the "Hyuga" class with a full flight deck.
